think its time to do some updating...
was away for a couple of days...

04.09.08 Thursdayy
went to the airport on the first bus(858). arrived there at abt 6.30... the gals (侯爵夫人，舒舒，茫茫，小C，阿英，四草) were waiting for me.. they arrived at the airport from shanghai at abt 1am.. haha... supposedly to meet them for some breakfast.. but who noes when i was at the airport, i couldn't find them.... over the phone, they told me that they were at the 亚坤 in T3.. but who noes i walked the whole of T3 but didn't see them... in the end.... 乌龙啊!!! all the while they were in T2...
took the sky train to T2... met the sloppy n sleepy gals... haha... its been 2 mths since i last saw them.... anyway... 阿英booked a seven seater maxi @ $50 to tanah merah ferry terminal...简直就是骗钱!!!! its so near only.... anyway its my fault that i didn't tell them not to book the cab.. otherwise can save at least $20...
our ferry ride to Bintan is at 9.10am... so after all check in procedures n baggage check in, i received a cal from auntie elsie!!!
tot why she so early morning call me sia!!!
原来孙姐上节目了!!!!! 早安您好!!!! goodness..... that program is so early... it muz be a disaster for her to wake up early... haha ....
the program somemore is live then still got 现场 call in... auntie elsie tot it was me who called in... haha... actu is she tot i watched (or rather, knew that she was going on tv!!) hell... i really didn't noe!!! n at that time we were alr at the ferry terminal le... there no tv somemore sia.....
worst thing is that i nv anticipated got repeat... (too long nv watch 早安您好 le .. forgot behind b4 ending got repeat!!)..
so with some excitement, we boarded the ferry... it will take abt 55mins for us to reach Bintan!!
i had sandwich n teh peng b4 we checked in!! n that was a very bad idea!! i vomitted for like nearly 25mins n non of them knew!! haha (they were too tired n the seat was really comfortable!! but in the end i told them!!!).. all were so sorry for me!! haha...
anyway... bright day when we arrived there... nice sun... we took the hotel chartered bus to our resort @ Nirwana Gardens... we booked a bunglow at this Banyu Biru Villa... as indonesia time was an hour behind ours, it was still 9am when we arrived... check ins are at 3pm. so we decided to go for a walk along the wonderful beach!
after the walk, we went to the poolside bar to have lunch.. they ordered satay and pizza, while i had a chocolate ice cream brownie.. we had some very nice chat... haha..
we made an appointment for a mangrove river ride @ 1pm.. the ride will take abt 1 1/2 hr, and supposedly, we would be able to see monkeys and some birds... as it started to rain when we were on the way there, the driver, manik gave us a choice of aborting it.. but since we were alr on the way so might as well continue...
the rain stopped for a while... as we board the mini speed boat, the tour guide brought along some raincoats... haha... after a while, it really started to rain heavily... we quickly 狼狈 的 put on our raincoats.... after a few turns, the rain got smaller... we were entering a very small path when the tour guide said we had no luck to see the monkeys n birds but we will see some very ferocious n poisonous snakes..... god bless... that 夫人 is bloody hell terrified abt snakes n started to scream abt not wanting to go in... but in the end we still went in...
en route, we saw 3 poisonous snakes... they were actually all napping but were woken by 夫人's screams... the last snake was nearer to us so the guide decided to head back cos think he oso felt quite dangerous... while heading back, he decided to let us see elephants... some say wanna go down of the boat to see... but so ridiculous(at least thats wat i tot), they stiil abit 驚魂未定 still wan go see elephants... the elephants are all wildlife de wor... wat if they start rampaging the moment we landed!!! wahaha... anyway, the guide oso discouraged us to land.... after a while we were on the way back... but not before we landed on a kelong.. tooks some group pics there..
after returning back to land, we decided to head back to the resort, for our check in....
Suria 1 is the unit for our villa at Banyu Biru.. its a 2 storey high bunglow with 3 bedrooms, 3 WC, a living room, a balcony n a kitchen..... wow it was such a luxury....
as we were abit soaked in our pants, some of them decided to take a bath, while some go out to do some racee(ing)... so it was only me n 夫人 watching tv with 小C still bathing...
i had actually wan to catch the advertisement of 蓬萊 since they were able to broadcast singapore tv channels.. my colleagues n my mum grandma has seen the advertisement le but i still haven seen it yet....
aft the second advert slot, i finally saw it... woohoo... 夫人 was so bloody excited that she screamed her voice off... but i told her there's no one in the house except for 小C who's bathing... and that 小C, omg.. 夫人's voice is so thunderous n she didn't really hear her... haha....
after a while, all of them returned n 小C oso finished her bath.... after which they all decided to go for a dip in the pool... the pool was near the beach.. they played for a while.. afterwhich me n 夫人 went to the beach for a walk... after returning to the pool, we realised that the rest has gone back, so we headed back too.. but we saw the whole bunch of them at the door... seems like they can't get the door opened... in the end... it was me who opened it... therefore, i became the 'door opener'... hahaha
after returning to the room it was time for dinner... wahaha..... but not before we catch another advert on tv... wahaha...
the buffet dinner was a spread... there's aplenty of seafood, side dishes n desserts... all were scrumptious.... but i had not much appetite so didn't eat much... it was not cheap either.. haha $33.. actually ok lah....
after dinner we arranged for manik to pick us up tmr at 10.30 to go to the city for a city tour... then we went outside to take some pictures...
after returning to the villa, all of us were kind of tired... so went to bed at abt 12... (but it was actu 1am singapore time le...)

woke up at abt 8 this morning to prepare to go for breakfast..... breakfast was free at the same restaurant... international buffet... not bad too.. haha...
after breakfast, we waited for the driver for the day, manik, to pick us up... we will be heading to Tanjung Pinang, a town away from the resort.... the first stop was to the illegal petrol koisk... omg!!! i dun think u've seen that before lor.... ~ a lady took a barrel of petrol + a huge funnel.. then she simply pour the petrol into the fuel tank!!! goodness... so dangerous and heard its not cheap too!!!
next we visited a temple along the way then next up to the highest part of tanjung pinang... at the top, we're able to overlook the whole of bintan island...
we proceeded to the shopping area for a few hrs of shopping... its like shopping in the roads of malaysia.... we had some satay n mee jiam kui... then we bought some chiku too... (but nv eat!!).. some glitches though... when we reached there, all of them wanted to get a drink, but then they do not accept singapore $$... and i'm the only one that has rupiah!!! n goodness gracious... i only have 30k rupiah which is abt S$5.. haha.... in the end, we settled for a small bottle of orange juice for 1.2k per bottle... haha.... anyways, after that all of them decide to change so money so they can buy some snacks back...
after the shoppings, we went to some sight-seeing places, namely a 300 yr old tree at a place called Senggarang.. a house was built over the tree in remembrance of a somebody...(哈哈)
then we went to visit a 妈祖庙.. there are some sculptures of the lengendary figures in the temple grounds... e.g. 孙悟空，唐三藏，猪八戒，济公，观音.. there is oso a deserted stage in front of the temple.. the temple is located near the sea.. woohoo... nice scenery!!!
after that, it was time for dinner..... woohoo....... we went to a kelong for some 海鲜大餐!! and the meal cost us a whopping $1028000....... RUPIAH!!!! haha.... and thats equivalent to SG$155.... piangz.... really so cheap lor!!!(comparing to the 螃蟹餐that we ate @ mellben!!!haha)... we ordered crabs, kailan, kangkong, gong gong, fried mee, fried rice, red snapper and hotplate beef.. we each had a big coconut too.... cost of a big coconut~12000rupiah!! haha...
after dinner, we headed back to the resort... as it was still early, we went to the Dino Bistro at the lobby level for some drinks.... we had beer n 2 of them had cocktail....
i guess we were the noisest there... too high le.... wahahah.... its our last nite there... so fast.....
went back to do some packing up n slept kind of early too... haha ...
06.09.08 Saturrdayyy
this mornin as we were taking the 11.30 ferry back to singapore, we woke up kiind of early.... took a final pic in the resort... then when to check out n had breakfast...... but before we left the resort, i received a sms from a freind informing me that our dear 孙姐 is in the newspapers again... this time its not the chinese but english papers..... The Straits Times, Life! section.... wowo..... it was a half page!!! excluding that 1 big advertisement!!! haha..... interviewed i guess some time ago... haha...
