Olympic Opening Ceremony
wow wow wow did anyone NOT see the great perfomance of the 29th Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony
The puppet show, the terracotta dance, the opera performance, the piano performance by lang lang and i supposed the greatest moment was when the huge Olympic cauldron was lit up... gosh... it was so spectacular!!
bets were on who will be the last torch bearer of the Olympic flame.. and u won't be surprised at the choice of the Olympian.. sporting and business pioneer Li Ning took to the skies and lit the Olympic cauldron.

cool, u noe.. he was once upon a time my prince charming(though he's kinda old now!!44 only)..
the whole opening ceremony was planned n directed by the famous director Zhang Yimou..
like i said the lighting of the huge Olympic cauldron, was the most spectacular.
if u nv watch, then let me tell u..
Li Ning was flown high up to the rooftop of the bird nest stadium.
on the white screen surrounding the stadium roof were a laser show.
the laser show slowly went one circle ard the roof with images of all the torch bearers across the 5 continents 4 oceans.
as the laser moved slowly, one can see Li Ning, being hung high up, taking a jog..
as he reaches the lighting point, he slowly lights the end and u'll see the fire just starts to burn n into the cauldron...
that, marks the official start of the 29th Beijing Olympics..
dun understand wat i mean.. then, let the pictures say all..
flag bearer for Singapore's contingent was Li Jiawei...

i wasn't trying to be 偏心 or wat... but i couldn't find any pic on Team Singapore march in... but found the chinese team （obviously... all eyes will be on them!!)

ok well well, not like in 04 Athens Games, i did not take leave to stay home watch... sad though...
but i managed to plan my off days on the important dates... but... sad to say, i won't be able to watch the men's singles finals on the 23rd..... grrrr.... i can only make do with my off on the 13th, 17th n 22nd... the rest of the days guessed i'll have to watch the repeat telecast..
