Accident
omg... can u believe it... i scalded my hand when i was cooking in my shop.. haha.. ya, in my SHOP!!!..
i had this travel cooking pot (erm, belonging to auntie diana!! with me for 10yrs.. nearly forgot abt it..haha!!).. anyway, cos was tight in my pocket, so i brought that pot to shop tot can cook some maggi mee during break..
so yesterday, i was cooking some instant porridge in the store room when the porridge started to boil 'vigorously'(like volcano eruption!! no joke!!).. the heat caused bubbles to be formed n it started erupting.. then in split seconds, a 1cm in diameter porridge (do u call that 一陀！！）, landed on my left hand.. right at the end of my index finger... eeks... painful sia~
at that split second, i was stunned... i was actu holding the handle of that pot.. it was so hot that i nearly dropped the pot onto the floor... but i was so damned slow lah... i was squatting down mah.. so i took time to stand up, then find a place to put down that pot, then look for a tissue to wipe it of... ok, so by the time i wiped it off, abt 3 mins was gone.... my hand started to turn red!!.. it was still fine at the start.. so i took some water from my bottle n pour over the scaled part.. after a while, really cannot take it... went to the toilet n let it go under running water.. then went to the pharmacy to get burning cream, Burnol...
by the time i applied the burnol, it started to swell alil.. n a small blister can be seen...
at nite when i reached home, the blister became bigger n bigger... this morning worst sia... expanding wider...
after some lame measurements, here are the readings for the size of the blister!!
Width=1.3cm
Length=1.5cm
Depth=0.6cm
it was really huge lor... the areas around the blister is swelling too... the skin is like kinda expanding... *sob sob*..
wanted to pierce it de... but june went to guardian to ask the pharmacist but she said not to pierce it otherwise it will get infection...
so now... a lump on my hand... when i came home, i used a tissue to cover it... cos after appling the burnol(which was a little yellow), i looks like a cancerous lump!!!
see if the swelling goes down tmr!!!
