Day 4 25-07-07 (Wed)
hmmm... recall... recall.... recall.....
ok... we woke up early again despite sleeping late last nite... i think we slept at ard 2 cos taking turns to charge our batteries... all the batteries went flat sia... n like i say.. only 1 power point... de.. anyway, we woke at ard 7.45 like that... and we met at ard 8.30 to have breakfast at this 28 cha can ting opposite our hotel... n all of us had po luo bao n nai you bao (after the lesson from the previous day), we still ordered teh!!!! yucks.... all taste the same sia... cheezy taste...(nan he dao yao si).... after breakfast... we went to take train to Wan Chai... today is a hard, HOT day... sai dao.....
the Golden Bauhinia Sculpturewe reached wan chai at ard 9.30 plus.. then walked quite a distance (sheltered bridge linking most of the office buildings), reach this hotel,convention hall... n (needed the toilet...) haha... then after that continued to walk to our destination... the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center (extension wing)... ya.. aka the Golden Bauhinia Square(jin zi ji guang chang).... so early only so crowded... alot of tourist from china sia... then keep on blocking our way....(buay zi dong!!).. anyway when it was our turn, we pose n pose n pose lor.. hack care... after that we continued to take pic of the convention center aka the Turtle Head.. (it was said that the turtle head represents hk facing the world... meant to hav good fortune for hk...)... me n yan tried taking pictures from different angle with a high rise building from the ohter side of the island, and the effect was terrific.... i like it.. hehe...
isn't it cool to be able to hold the skyscraper in ur hands??after all the zi lian/ings... we promptly left that place n took the train to our next destination... Causeway Bay ( tong luo wan)... exited right inside Times Square... shopped for a while... there is 13 storeys of shopping n dining... we took the store booklet from the information counter n went directly to the shops that interest us... in there, we went to Kose(juz infront of the mtr exit escalator), irene n yan bought things... then chuan n ling bought things at Bossini... we saw KrispyKreme (the hk famous donuts) but nv eat... wasted... kinda regretted it.. haha... then we went upstairs to cover Zara, Mango, Addidas, Nike, OZOC, LeSportsSac... oh.. yan craved for coffee so we got Starbucks... hehe... after covering the shops, we went outside to take some pics.. they were having some art exhibition outside... oh.. met some fellow singaporeans there..(lin's hubby was asked by a couple to take pic for them after confirming he was from singapore... haha..)...
seeing that it was almost time for lunch.. we decided to leave times square n proceed to Central for lunch at the 'famous' Yung Kee Roasted Meat Rice... so to get to zhong huan, we decided to try riding on the 'ding ding' aka dian che aka tram (as recommended by chuan)... ok... with regards to that short distance...(roughly 10-15mins?) all buses go through only 1 route... so after confirming with a kind samaritian, we boarded onto a least crowed ding ding... fare=HK$2... kinda reasonable (standard price to all destination).. we went to sit on the upper deck... but our eyes were constantly on the map n the buildings outside incase we missed the stops... piangs.. the roads are really complicated... the streets are small oso.... finally after confirming that the place we were looking for is juz ard the corner (looking for the Central Market, Long Escalator)...

We dropped the fare n alighted... turned ard the corner, n we saw the long escalator...but... we were looking for the street that yung kee sits on.... n noe wat... its up up up on the steep slope sia... the weather damn hot n we alr perspiring like mad n hungry le.. n still gotta climb up the slope in order to eat!!... anyway.. since we there le so, walk up lor... finally found the place le n it turns out to be a restaurant!!! nobody said it was a restaurant... we were standing outside deciding wether or not to eat in there or juz eat the as famous wanton noodle at the bottom of the slope.... but.. in the end still go in... cool... as in aircon shuang... my t was soaked with 'water'... yucks... haha... we each ordered the roasted goose rice, lin ordered chicken rice(she dare not try the goose meat), her hubby ordered goose n char siew combo... not bad only lor... i won't say very nice.. cos singapore seldom got sell then i had my fair share yrs back when i was in china le.. so ... like that lor.. taste like duck meat but springy(ier) than duck meat... nearly can't bite it off...hehe...
Yung Kee Restaurant?? can't see?? sorry..after lunch, we walked downhill n decided to start the walk on the Long Escalator... (think all of us kinda regret going up... haha.... BUT... always think that its for the experience mah!!! go holiday jiu shi muz go to these 'famous' places. haha).... it was really fun going up the escalator... but when up there... i was like!!! -_-" huh.. like that only ar... nothing but houses... der... haha... now for the fun part.. haha....coming down was the tedious thing... (did i mention that the escalator only goes in the UP direction??? and we have to take the stairs to come down...).... but we stopped mid way to reach Tai Chang Bing Jia (as recommended by forum netizens) to get lao po bing... the staffs were quite shock cos we bought all their stocks of lao po bing.. hehe... i didn't managed to get cos wasn't that keen... haha.... then we took lots of photographs midway.. haha...

finally reached the bottom, decided to go to IFC Mall next... haha... big building...but no photographs allowed!!! sad... inside mostly branded... so nv really explore.... as Yiling (my former Liat Tower head cashier) is working as a manager there, so simply walked into Zara... omg... cannot believe my eyes.... so messy.... haha... worst then combi of LT n NAC... still tot high class place, will be neated, but was wrong... hehe.... anyway didn't see her there... (was on MSN with her the night b4 n she said she's having her training in Portugual now, so not in HK).. haiz.. mei you yuan see her... hopefully next time got chance... hehe
since there was nothing in IFC, we walked out n across the street, found Li Yuen Street (we simply walked pass... but there were many things that can buy!!) and reached H&M... heard that this is a Spanish brand like Zara n Topshop... sale going on... so got some things nia... haha... chuan yan n irene after finished their rounds, waited for the other 3 (me, lin n her hubby) at the mac opposite... we joined them but lin n hubby went on to esprit (again)... at ard 7, we went to take mtr back to hotel...

back at hotel, rest feet for a while.. then went out for dinner.... decided to eat jap food, we walked aimlessly but straight into Langham Place... found Ajisen.. hehe.. Q was long.. so had to wait... (saw this english speaking guy, singaporean lookalike, who looks like Mervin, but sis say mervin meeting them for dinner on the 27th night.. so dun think its him??) ... anyway.. food at Ajisen was good... service not bad too.. haha.. we ordered karagae n wanted to get mayo from them but we dunno wats that called in chinese so we describe it as the white colour sauce and the waitress was like huh for a while then asked if its 'sha la jiang' that we wanted n we were like... yayayaya,,, haha.... funny... all of us were like 'ooh, so they called it salad dressing...haha'

after dinner, walked ard Portland Street... went Sasa to get perfume.. then walked back to tung choi st... went to eat Hui Lau Shan aka xu liu shan - famous for the mango desserts... we had this 'yang zhi jin lao' n lin had this 'mang guo ling jing jing'.. hehe.. nice names hor... dessert as nice lor... no wonder so famous... always so crowded leh... we ate while walking...
walked to Ladies Street next.... my advice... if u not really into 'branded' bags... dun go in... they trying to 'chop' tourist only... hell ex... but the can slash half price... and still ex... so if u dunno how to bargain, dun bother.. haha... in the end, only chuan bought a pair of cartoon nite slipper... n irene some socks... the rest juz browse only... oh n i was looking at this bag.. the lady quote me 380.. then i said 'ok...' nodding then walked away... then she keep on pestering me.. slashing the price... i had no intention to buy in the first place.. so i simply juz walked off.. in the end.. i heard her shouting across 'hey miss 150.. 150..' other store auntie oso started to say in unison 'to me' '150,hey she said 150 leh'.. i simply ignored then walked away... goodness... the bag if buy in singapore think ard 20+ but she quote 70.. telling me wat quality good... hello... if quality really good u should be selling in shops n not in ladies street!!!! -_-" haha... sacarstic rite...
went back to hotel ard 11 plus ba.. then do some packing as we have to check out at 12pm tmr...
ooh... kinda tedious.. haha... brought 1 luggage but returning with 3 bags full... wakaka..... anyway... decided we will meet at 11.30 tmr, we took our time to do packing n sleep kinda late as well... but poor chuan... fall sick, took tablet so slept soon after her packing... while i finish watching my qiong yao series... ji du xi yang hong...
