HONG KONG 2007

wakaka.. ok.. this post will be for the benefit of friends who wans to noe abt my trip(keke as if got pple interested to read.. haha!!!) ok.. lets starto...

21-07-07 (Sat) - 22-07-07(Sun)

ok.. was working till 3 pm.. then gotta go to carrefour to get some groceries for ah ma... anyway, reached cwp ard 5 plus le.. haiz.. i still tot i'd be able to rest early... went to popular to pay for the collection of my Harry Potter n the Deathly Hallows (i brought to hk but nv read.. brought back n started reading on sat morning, thru work, on sun thru work till this morning in the train, n i finished reading... hee.. record?? 2 days... )

luckily i had done my packing... reached home, got some red packets from mak mak, ah ma n dad.. hehe... then had dinner n went to bed ard 10 plus... ok my flight was like 8 am the next morning.. but... had to check in at 6am.. but... cos chuan's dad(taxi driver) gotta change shift, so driving her, lin n hubby to the airport at ard 4plus... ya.. crazy rite... so in order to accompany them, we also will have to arrive at ard that time.. haha.. but obviously we(me, irene n yan)did not adhere to the original plan(of reaching there ard 5)... i did not managed to sleep well obviously...!!!! was still figeting on the bed till nearly 2... omg... time is running!!! no choice.. there was definately no way i will get to sleep...(alarm was to ring at 3.30).. so in the end.. woke up to play com till nearly time to bath,,, sis knew i couldn't sleep so msg me.. haha... went to bathe at ard 4am... (was supposed to meet yan n irene at 4.30) hahahaha.... definately late no matter how fast i was... got downstairs at aard 4.30... luckily managed to get a cab soon enuff...
not long after i boarded the cab.. it started to drizzle... wah seh.. heng ar.. ti gong bor bi ar... so lucky... went to pick up yan n irene.. the moment they boarded the cab, it started to pour.. reached airport worst.. thunderstorm sia... sis msg me to ask if i left home.. but told her i reached le.. she oso say lucky cos woodlands oso thunderstorm sia...

anywaz.... check in counter was ready when we reached at ard 5.20, so when ahead to check in... weight of my that big luggage - 10.8kg... siao liao.. so heavy... but it was only half full as u can see in my previous post...like that only 10kg gone.. wah lau... hehe... after check in went for breakfast at mac...

63A.. window seat... i love window seat...

time for boarding... estimated flying time - 3 hr 18 mins.. food on board was (!ok!) haha.. ya.. i was sick again.. so nv eat.. juz 2 mouthful.. cos was still full from the mac we had(too early n too full for breakkfast)... ok.. i admit... laugh.. carry on laughing,,, i vomited... but as in the past( the last time[vomited] was when i went to germany k!!) puked when descending... hate the descending n touch down part... eeks.... anyway.. was fine after puking.. haha.. but there goes my breakfast..... we were early when we arrived there... about 11.40... but the clearance was terrible... took ard an hr.... together with all the china tourist... noisy bunch... hehe... after clearing customs( n add an additional chop to my passport)... we waited for the hk tour agent at the arrival hall... the arrival hall was beautiful.. so were we.. hehe....... the place look exactly like wat we have seen on tv.. but becos of time constraint... nv explore n no pics..

hehe,,, went past Tsing Ma Bridge on the way out of Lantau Island, where Chak Lap Kok Airport sits on..



arrived at the hotel at ard 2pm.. juz nice for check in.. but as usual.. they will tell u room not ready... so we deposited our luggages n when for lunch.. upon arrival, i have informed my hk friends so they are on the way to meet me for lunch... so we went to this London Restaurant along Nathan Road for Dim Sum (recommended by forum netizens)... nv go there again.... goodness,,, restaurant.... wth... food... sucks... service.... worst!!!! after meeting my 2 friends... one of them, xing yue, had to go off... so we went shopping along Sai Yeung Choi Street West... saw Sasa.. so went to check out the price... not really cheap as some pple say... some almost same price....

roughly ard 3 plus.. we proceeded back to the hotel for our final check in... rest a while then we went to Tsim Sha Tsui...

holding the map in my hand.. i was like the tour guide... basically.. i was told that i'm the only one good at reading map (was i?? haha...)... n basically... i was the only wan fluent in cantonese... so.. all of them will stick close to me.... (in these 5 days.. my name was often being called by the other 5... keke... read on!!).. first destination 1 was ask to find was this erm... oh ya giordano factory outlet... getting out of the station, we walked along the 'supposed' street (all address given my netizens in the HK topic forum).. haha.. on the way found Trendyland... sells disney products... then found a giordano.. but not the factory outlet... we were kinda thirsty le.. so went to the 7-11 to get some drink.. after getting drink, they wan me go ask for direction so i went.. haha.. i was so proud of myself.. haha. can't believe i could speak so fluently.. keke.. though i stammer quite abit but still not bad le lor.. managed the whole sentence n found the place that we wan to go to!!! haha (feel like punching me.. hehe go ahead -_~!)

finally found... Factory Outlet... cheaps.... inside.. hehe.. but from wat i noe.. mostly all past season de... i tot factory outlet supposed to be same as normal outlet juz that they all mostly rejects selling at cheap price.. (think my assumption of FO in HK was wrong!!).. anyway.. 3 for HK$100 for the tops.. so not bad a bargain.. which breaks down to 3 for S$20.. cheap... after getting our stuffs n realising it was kinda late... we proceeded to our next destination... TST SOGO... nothing much haha... ex stuff... not abit like singapore SOGO... so next destination.. or rather last destination for that day... AVENUE OF STARS... aka xing guang da dao... teh night view was brillant... the lightings at the other side of the sea(Hongkong Island, where the 'turtle head' convention hall lies..) blinking to the rythems of the song (Symphony of the Lights, it was called)... the handprints n everything... perfecto...





after which, we walked down TST again n found the Esprit Factory Outlet(i'd rather call them warehouse sale..).. never in my last 25 yrs have i bought esprit clothings.. n that night.. i bought my first second n third of the many esprit tops n a pants... costing me abt S$60 juz that nite..(we had a few more rounds following) ...



returned to the hotel to leave our things n went out for dinner... n mind u.. it was alr 10pm... ya.. thats dinner... (after vomiting my breakfast, eating the sucky n not filling dim sum, a bottle of ILT.. thats it) or supper.. hehe... went back n did a bit of packing n wash up... went to bed at ard 1 plus...

shows on tv?? Harry potter n the socerer's stone,, Ji Du Xi Yang Hong, Jiu Dian Feng Yun, Kangxi Wei Fu Si Fang Ji.. hehe...
